Lysos is the largest village in the Paphos district. The ideal way to get to know the area is to walk, and the village with it's traditional coffee shops and houses is only a short distance from the hotel. The village is characterized by a picturesque square and a number of small historic churches. For the more energetic there are a number of hiking trails of varying length and accessibility.
Ride in the beautiful countryside of the Lysos valleys - situated on the edge of the Troodos Forest National Park with beautiful views over the plain to the Akamas Peninsula. Vineyards and olive groves, open plains and valleys, tracks through the forest and down to the coast - take a guided hack along the trails for a day's picnic ride or just have a taster ride for one or two hours. Experienced riders will enjoy the adventure rides which are tailor made to suit you. Non riders need not to left out - they can meet the ride for a picnic lunch (why not try a mountain bike?) - Transport is available from the hotel.
Scuba diving in Cyprus is a dream. Clear visibility (30 metres plus), warm waters, the chance to see turtles, octopus, grouper, numerous other fish, fascinating coral and plant life. See the remains of amphora and other pottery all over the area dating back several thousand years lying undisturbed on the seabed of Mediterranean.
